I am a 19 climber from Squamish, BC, and I have been climbing for practically my whole life. I began scrambling rocks outdoors, but eventually the local circuit piqued my interest as a youth competitor, and I have been competing ever since. 2025 marks my second year on the Open Lead National Team, as well as the first season that I competed on the full senior World Cup circuit. This is an exciting chapter for me, and I hope to continue developing myself as an athlete at the IFSC level in the seasons to come. Although I am primarily focusing on training and international competitions, I am still passionate about rock climbing and love to get outside in the off-season!
I am currently living and training in Montreal, where I am a full-time student at McGill University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree.
I started climbing around the age of two, brought into the sport by my mom. She was a professional outdoor boulderer as well as a World Cup athlete for Canada, and being exposed to the level of excellence and passion for the sport was definitely inspiring. Climbing has always been a natural part of life and who I am, and the more I played in climbing and discovered myself through the sport, the more motivated I was to pursue it at a high level.
Outside of climbing, I enjoy being outside, listening to music, and spending time with friends. When inspiration hits, I love getting creative and gearing down on a sewing project, usually clothing for myself or gifts. I also love to bake and cook, and my favourite recipe would definitely be a muffin or loaf with seasonal flavours and ingredients! I’m really grateful for the privilege to travel across the world for competitions, and exploring new places is one of my biggest passions.
Ever since I was a young kid, I have wanted to compete in World Cups. This childhood goal definitely drives me, but my ever-evolving connection with climbing, movement, and all the positive impacts and opportunities it has on my life keep me motivated. I find it very rewarding to notice subtle improvements, and I find the hard work of the process very fulfilling. The adrenaline rush from climbing on the headwall and fighting to my limit isn’t too bad either!
