Compete

National championships, the path to the National Team, and how to take part.

Climbing Escalade Canada runs a national series of competitions each season to crown Canadian champions across age categories and disciplines: bouldering, lead, speed and para climbing. Our events are also the path to the National Team and to international competition.

How to compete

  1. Get your CEC licence. An athlete licence is required for every CEC-sanctioned competition. Buy it on 2mev using the Register button at the top of this page. See Registration & Licences.
  2. Qualify through your province or territory. Athletes qualify for national events through their provincial or territorial climbing organization. See Qualification & Categories for who to contact.
  3. Register for the event. Each event page links to its registration on 2mev once it opens.
  4. Follow live results. Scores and live results are on cec.results.info during each event. Final results are posted on the event page afterwards.
