The CEC serves as the national sport organization for competitive climbing in Canada. We regulate and promote the development of competition climbing in Canada, and provide assistance to athletes, coaches, and event organizers nationwide with an aim to ensure Canada always has a spot on the podium.

Board of Directors:Â The CEC Board of Directors is elected annually by the members of the CEC. All CEC Board members are expected to serve in the best interests of the entire Canadian competition climbing community.
The CEC is a member of the IFSC, the IFSC Pan American Council. It is also a member of the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) and the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC).
