Climbing Escalade Canada strongly opposes the use, possession, or supply of prohibited substances and methods in sport, by athletes, coaches, medical and paramedical staff, other support personnel, administrators, and officials.
CEC adopts and follows the Canadian Anti-Doping Program (CADP), run by Sport Integrity Canada (formerly the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport). The CADP is a harmonized set of rules designed to prevent, deter, and detect doping, protecting both the integrity of sport and athletes’ right to compete clean. Learn more about the CADP.
Doping control
Athletes can be tested in and out of competition, often with no advance notice. Testing and sample collection follow the CADP and World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) standards.
